My name is Louise. I have over 13 years of experience in the Pet Industry, having worked as a Pet Sitter since 2012. I absolutely love all animals, but have a soft spot for cats.
In summer 2024, my 20-year-old cat Cleo sadly passed away. Soon after this, I decided to specialise solely in Cats and opened Cleo’s Place in her memory. Cleo was a very special girl. Throughout her life, we struggled finding the right care for her, since she didn’t like other cats, which is common for many cats. We tried her traditional style catteries, which never seemed to work; she would get stressed, meaning we never enjoyed our holidays through worrying about her. There was nothing that existed that was luxury but without her getting stressed by other cats.
Cleo’s place is diffrent. We only have 3 rooms. The rooms are within our home in quiet secluded areas where they come into no contact with other boarders or our pets. With only 3 rooms, boarders get many hours of attention from me. I spend a lot of time playing, cuddling and generally providing company and comfort.
I am fully insured and qualified in pet first aid, CPR, along with a Level 3 Diploma in feline Care, Welfare and Behaviour. I am experienced and efficient and happy to administer any medication our guests may need.
